Compiling Stock Front Sway bar/RSB size chart

All these rear sway bars should be interchangable. STI bars are said to fit regular imprezas if you bolt them to the outside of the endlinks.
Non-turbo FSBs will fit non-turbo cars.
Turbo FSBs will fit turbo cars.

according to one of the mods, 90-99 Legacy bars do fit 93-07 Imprezas. NA to NA and turbo to turbo, of course.

Many thanks to those who're helping this thread along.

I believe the STI's bar is not swappable with the regular imprezas.

But if anyone posts em, i'll add it.

well yea, but it was my understanding that the impreza was a pretty decent handling car since its inception.

Well yeah. AWD beats a sway bar any day.

My RS was a decent handling car with a 13mm sway. But the 17mm sway made it better. Every little bit, you know?

???????????????? Wouldn't that mean some pretty craptacular handling?
Suprisingly no, I am quite imprezed with the handeling of the car. I dont know what size the front is buts its more rear end happy than I expected. Laura has pulled the back end out a couple times, and I had oh so much fun in the snow with it.

has anyone gone from a 13mm to the full 24mm on these adjustable sway bars? i just bought the whiteline adjustable, and i was wondering what the max 24mm felt like, im assuming it would really throw the ass end sideways :bump:

The rear STi sway fits 93-01 Impreza's... and Foresters too. :)
I'm getting conflicting data on this. Other people have told me you need to swap out the lateral links.

and bump for updated data.

Haha. Wow... I guess the '04 STi RSB's that I have on my 2001 2.5RS and 2001 Forester S wouldn't make me a knowledgeable source.

They do fit. You don't have to change your lateral links (which wouldn't work anyway). Anyone who's says differently does NOT know what they're talking about.
