I'm curious as to whether anyone else is/has had problems with thier stock CD player in the RS. This last weekend, me and my girlfriend where on a little trip, and the CD we were listening to got to the end, and started playing track 1 over again. Well, we wanted to listen to something else, so she hit the eject button, but the disk didn't come out, and it won't play. When you hit the eject button, it sounds like it wants to eject, but it never does. Is this an isolated thing, or do these CD players not last very long? The cars about 1.5 years old, by the way. And I'm going to go down to the dealership and see what I can get done, so if I find out anything wierd, I'll let ya'll know. But I've got just over 20k miles on the car, so this should still be covered under warranty, so at least that's a good thing.

Good luck getting your CD back!

My ex roommate's kids fooked with my home 5-disc changer and screwed it up - took it back to Sears and forever lost Metallica! (boo hoo) :p

My CD player isn't that old but it has plenty of use. 26k miles of constant changing, so far no problems, though it's timing for skipping has me wondering what makes it tick.

Well, I just got it replaced under warranty today. Not sure exactly waht the problem was, but hopefully I just got a unit with a little problem. And judging by the responses to this thread, not many people have had similar problems. They are made by Clarion, by the way, so it's not some cheesy brand or anything. But I can finally listen to CD's again!
