So I'm doing a 257/SOHC heads hybrid build and seems I need the STi or any 2.5 turbo coolant crossover pipe. Anyone have a Subaru part number for this part? Or can I mod the 251 pipe? Thanks!

The part number for the 257 crossover is 14050AA451 for the 04-05 STi and 14053AA550 for the 05-07.

I would look on nasioc for one because it is a 300 dealer part if I rember correctly

Well, I don't want to spend $300 if I don't have to. No luck on the other Subaru forums.
I hear you can just mod the stocker, anyone wanna chime in?

No you can't they aren't the same size my buddy had the same issue

have you tried a wtb ad on nasioc someone on there would have now

And if I rember correctly a companie makes a really good one that flows better than stock

Ok, well seems that it is only a $120 part on subaruparts.com.
Still would rather find a used one for half that price, but if I cant find a used one in the next few days, Ill just get a new one.
After doing research, you can use the stock EJ251 pipe, and grind down and then plug the second breather on the STi block. But, that doesnt seem like such a good idea to me, as excessive pressure could build up, so I will just get the correct pipe.

On my build I just modified the factory crossover pipe(I have a 98RS). I plugged the extra engine breather and ran the stock crankcase breather/PCV setup. It forked just fine.
