I was born and grew up in Chicago for 25 years. I kinda missed this great city that has everything to offer and nothing to lose.

Now I'm stuck in the Pacific Northwest in Portland, Oregon.

Chicago has "nothing to lose"??? How about these things:

1) Bad Drivers
2) Horrible Roads
3) NO twisty roads to drive on.
4) Cost of Living is too high
5) Did I say idiot Drivers yet???
6) How about crappy roads??? :lol:

Other than these things, I love Chicago... :biggest:

Come on over to Oregon...we have plenty of mountainous roads, country roads (those you always see in movies), lots of twistys, straight aways with only farmlands on both sides of the road, etc. hehehe.

Well, we have crappy roads and drivers as well. They never cease wherever you go.

Yeah, I still love and missed Chicago.

Are you nuts? I would give my left nut to live out in Oregon again. Sooooo beautiful. Of course I grew up in Eugene, and ended up in Chicago.

Brian - there's work if you want to eat ramen for the rest of your life,live in a shitehole apartment with 5 other guys and just spend all your $$$ on snowboarding and beer. I did for a winter in Bend....then I ran out of $$$ and went back home to MI.
