Hello,

I am getting KYB AGX (new) and i got 2 choices of springs to get right now and with my limited knowlege i really dont know what's a better way to go.

1: Ground Controls Sleeves - made by Eibach

used for about 3 month- 3000 miles

Front 8" 340 spring rate
Rear 8" 250 spring rate

what's the drop on these things...?

300$ + shipping
--------------------------------------

2: Tanabe sustec H springs - Brand new
Lower by 1 1/4".

Front 220 spring rate
Rear 165 spring rate

very close to Ver 5 springs.

160 + shipping

Plz dont just say get these.., but explain why.

I wanna go reaaaaaaaly fast :D

Thanx

Ground Control.

No question about it in my mind. The main reason is that the ground controls have the most success of any spring with the AGX. I especially wouldn't want to be a guiniea pig again for a new spring. I have already been down that road personally. There are actually only a few springs that I would ever consider using with AGXs or Version 5 struts for that matter.

Eibach
H&R
SPT
Whiteline (lowering, not the super low)
Ground Controls

Absolutely. New a set of Ground Controls costs about $399. A set used for three months should easily be worth 75% of its original price.

That should be an excellent spring rate for hard driving and autocross too.

GC's definitely!! I've had mine (with AGX's) for about a week now and I love the setup. Lowered about 1.25 all around. Looks great on the sedan. 340#F, 300#R.

And actually, I don't think the sleeves are made by Eibach, but all Ground Controls come with Eibach springs.
