Sure, there will be about hmmmmmmm, 3/4 of a centimeter slop in there, so you might get some pretty bad piston slap noise, but you can do it.

Seriously, no. Go get yourself some J&E pistons if you're really needing forged units. BTW, what are you thinking you need them for?

Any pistons that you need to have made for the 2.5 will be best sourced in the US. JE and Weisco are used in Subarus in Australia quite often for overbore applications. There is little point in going over seas for pistons, you may even be getting pistons that made the trip twice .

Paeco can make forged pistons for our cars in a variety of compression ratios, and they are less expensive per set than the JE.

Stay away from the Weisco pistons. Those are what B-spec uses, and they take quite a bit of massaging to even use.
