something weird happened

so the other day, i went to 7-11 and went to go put my 99 RS in park. and the shift lock was only pressing in maybe half the way it normally would, and i had to put some serious muscle to put the car in park. is this the tranny going downhill? or just the shift lock?

Did it happen just once or still happens? i think it's just the shift lock tbh, did you try taking off the cover and looking at it? If your gonna, take pics so it could help us more ;)

yeah its freakin hot out, rofl... i think something may just be in the way, hopefully wont be anything of a big deal. Let us know how it goes down.
