Our cars are super bitch'n in the snow. We just got hit with a decent snow storm today and it probably dropped a good 6-7" of snow in about 2-3 hours. I left work at 5pm and it was a total white-out here in the North-East Ohio area. My usual 15 minute commute took 35. On the way home I truly learned what a luxury it is to have a good set of snow tires and awd. There reached a point where ppl were just pulling off to the side of the road and turning on the hazards because they couldn't go any further. I saw people spinning out of control trying to go up small inclines, and around corners. But not me, I plowed right through it all and did it with style, wow what a feeling...

Today was just one of those days where I was feeling the Suby-love. Just wanted to share that.

Happy snowplowing :sunny:

I hear you. Sucks when it snows here... Amy takes my RS and I'm stuck in our Jimmy, with open differentials and off-road only 4WD (meaning stop to shift into 4x4, and can't drive on pavement for fear of torquing the driveshafts and breaking them.)

I want another Scooby! :D

damn.. I must be the ultimate bad-ass..

I drive like a friggen animal in the snow; nothing feels better than counter steering your way out of a slide.

Haven't had much white stuff in Connecticut.. Got a bit of a dusting today :)

If only I lived in Buffalo!

I've offered my car to my wife, but she hasn't taken it very often. Not that I'm complaining. ;)

I'm usually fairly aggressive in the snow too, just not in 5pm rush hour traffic with a whole road full of peeps. I always hit the local schoolyard lot for a little playtime in the snow.

MistaRS, I think the storm we had today is headed your way next. Have fun!

We got slammed too. I had to pull some girl off of a sewer main. It was hilarious she busted her neons off and she was just about in tears. I can't even understand how she got in that position. As soon as I turned the corner and saw her stuck Garbage - Stupid Girl came on the radio. After I pulled her into a church parking lot I did a bunch of dounuts to make sure my gas was mixing well in my tank......yea, that sounds good. I will admit snow tires would make things much nicer.

Craig. When you got to work, were you the only few who made it there, huh? Did you still have to work?
This was after work on the way home. That did happen last winter though, where I was only one of a few ppl who made it to my evening class at a nearby college. and I had an hour+ commute.
