Just wondering, My car is all stock with heads that have been resurfaced. Its a 00 so stock compression is 10:1.

I would say run 87 unless of course you had a fair amount of the heads resurfaced. More the .005 and I would be tempted to begin to run 89 because of the bump in compression.

(<--this guy uses 93, what an idiot)

I'm running 93, don't want any detonation considering the mileage on my engine. I'm doing anything I can to baby it until the swap. My main bearings already have a lot of play that allows the crankshaft to move front to back, from a previous owner using a stiff clutch setup.

the ecu can add a tad bit more timing with 93, but thats if you have a healthy engine.
I noticed about 2-4* timing difference from 87-93 under similar conditions.

I run 93 octane for autoX just for ease of mind as I'm @ WOT and bouncing off the limiter.
