I've noticed in my Impreza that the driver side seatbelt reciever (the one attached to the seat itself) is shorter than the passenger side one, so short infact that it's a chore to buckle it without contorting ones-self to reach it.
It's really annoying Me and the Missus.

What can I do about this? I'd like to raise it up about an inch, thatd be perfect.. any one know of any ways to acheive this result?

Many thanks...

(PS.. before the jokes fly, neither of us are lard asses.. the driver side is a good inch and half shorter than the passenger side.)

Move your seat back, that should make it even.

Well.. not that I thought this would work, but I took the advice, only problem is see, the belt ends are attached to the seat rails..the ones that slide with the seat. So changing the position of the seat does nothing.. If I took both off the car and laid them side by side, the driver side would be a (closer estimate) inch shorter than the Passenger side.

At this point I might just swap them. Anyone know if this is possible without effecting other electronics?
