Does anybody know if the 2.5 RS gauges will work in a 96 Brighton or are the harnesses different? I'm assuming they are different but thought I would check

The harnesses are different

If you reallllly wanted to you could get it to work, but you'd have to merge the harnesses, convert to electronic VSS from mechanical, etc.

even if you wired it correctly (not even sure if thats possible), the clusters are a completely different shape and will not even remotely come close to fitting in the other dash

I left out this fact since OP didn't ask if it would fit, just if it would work .

The STi cluster doesn't "fit" in the GC dash, yet people still install them :lol:

you could say the GD cluster fits in the 98-01 GC dash, because they are shaped the same way (just out more at the bottom) but the 93-97 cluster juts out at the top and thus wont fit at all
