Got rid of this for the price I paid 😂 and I'm holding out in pics of what's going on with the blue car. Stay tuned

Hey look progress!





Initial test fit confirmed there's some firewall cutting to be done but good news is the length is spot on with the shifter hole.

After bracing the body and starring at it for a bit, I worked up the courage and chopped into the firewall. I cut right up to the cowl and then 10inches from the center on each side. On the tunnel I only cut to the first seam because other than the bell housing the t-56 fits pretty nicely.





Mock up mounts tomorrow.

Interested to see where the engine ends up, specifically height. I was curious how high it would be in the engine bay if it was ABOVE the oem subframe.

My subframe sits at the same height as the OEM one but has about 6 inches more pan clearance. I'm going with a Canton front sump gto style pan so the portion over the subframe is only 3 inches deep. It will clear an un-cut hood.
