You don't have to remove the axle nut. Just take the lug nuts off and pull the wheel off. You can push it out with your fingers.
Since you said you don't want to raise the car, the only way to get it out is by trying to stick a small pick behind it and pulling it out. You could try a tooth pick that will take most of the punishment, but I have a feeling it's going to break before you get anywhere. Just pull the wheel off.
Had an issue tonight with my brakes failing and pedal going to the floor.
Car is an 00 RS with full 05 STI swap and Goodrich steel braided lines.
It seems like the RS proportioning valve is leaking when the fluids get hot and then it failed.
They don't make the RS valves anymore according to...

ive dug through alot of threads and have yet to find a CLEAR answer on what is the correct BMC upgrade for my 01 RS. anyone have an answer for me? my guess is that it would that it be an SVX bmc with abs? thanks for any input

Single stage booster - stock
Master cylinder: stock L
Proportioning Valve: stock L
