hey i was just woundering if any of u guys ever ordered and installed a random cat on ur RS.

when buying it they ask if u want the install kit. whats included with the kit? (i was thinking bolts, gaskets, etc.)

and also i have my98 and it only has one o2 sensor in it and on the ad it says it has fittings for both oxygen sensors. what do i do with the other hole that in the cat, just close it up

I have a random tech cat and when I had some questions with it they answered my questions pretty quickly since they have and in-house tech to which they just handed the phone over too. I don't think it came with gaskets or anything just the cat that bolted right up with minimum effort.

Ive got the Random Tech cat.Install was a little tite on the front o2 sensor.Just whack the heat shield a little on the stock headers,it fits easier that way.Other then that no probs.If you do get one order it from Cobb,there price is better then if you order it direct from Random Tech($30)diff.I didnt get an install kit but if your bolten this up to the stock midpipe you will need longer bolts from the cat to the midpipe.If it's a MY00 or 02 figure on a CEL.

I just ordered the Random Tech Cat. Thanks guys, I was having trouble finding them for some reason! I don't know what the installation kit thing is all about, but hopefully I won't need it. My total exhaust system will be Borla gen3 header, Random Tech Cat, Stromung midpipe and dual tip exhaust. Can't wait!

Same set-up i am running right now as is rudy IIRC works well sounds even better. Now to get the air in as well as its going out.

I'm breathing well, I have Larry Ganz's Phase II CAI, with the PRM filter. Don't have the cams, though, not ready to take apart the engine quite yet!
