And Subaru started it all. The RS2.5 was amazingly popular considering that Subaru didn't uh... ADVERTISE IT!! Then they bring the WRX and an advertising blitz for it... and all of a sudden Mitsubishi is saying "oh shit! Why didn't we release the Lancer EVO over there?!?"

Some of the Lancer fans really need to thank Subaru. If they hadn't taken a chance and proved that there is a market, the Mitsubishi boys wouldn't be getting the Lancer.

Yes - it's an Outback underneath. But its turbocharged.

They said too many other similar cars were way better...

As for the EVO...

I like the power
I like the seats
I like the Brembo brakes

I don't like the styling (yes you all say the same thing about the new Impreza )
I don't like the fact that it's a Mitsubishi
I don't like that they waited until after I've invested $24,000 in an WRX to release it (bloody bastards!)
