Question about Ganzflow Cone Air filter

I'm looking at the GanzFlow Cone Air Filter (not the CAI) for the MY99 RS with the MAF sensor. Just wondering if anyone else has this intake and what they think of it. Good throttle response? any engine problems?

I know someone else who has it and they say it makes noise, but little or no perf. gain...
