just found this on craigslist it looks like a good deal but i dont think he knows the actual year of the car, since last i checked '00 rs's dont have that front bumper.

If this is still for sale when I move to PA around early January I want to check this out
The whole thing looks shady to me... claims it's a 2000... has apparently '98 goldies (if they're not '99 repainted ones. It's a coupe.. meaning it physically can't be a 2000. L bumper.. sure looks to be a '98, don't ya think? Even has '98 style seats... '00+ didn't come with those.
Clearly a '98 in my eyes. As for 934 miles on the 'new' engine.. ummmm, that's not even broken in, technically. And who knows where it came from.
All in all, there is a lot of misleading information and things that don't match up. For a fact, it's not a 2000. I'd stay away.

2000s did not come in that color, though it could be repainted.
98 RS' had the L bumper
98s have the gold 5 spokes
It also has the black gauges, and accordion shift boot, both of which all 98 RS' had.
If the sticker on the spoiler is gold, then it's gotta be a 98.

That physically makes no sense :lol:
if it wasn't almost three hours away I would just go check it out in person tomorrow...so misleading when location is PA I automatically think it's close to me :unamused:
