Kick ass, I ROBOT is here! Here's my trunk (I've since added a trunk monkey, but this shows the sub box). I know it's not the best setup since it uses up most of the trunk floor, but it's all bolted down to the spare tire cover, and has stayed in place through 3 rally-x's and several off-road ventures. I'm looking for a new box that I can bolt the amp to, and that will free up a lot of usable floor space. Here are the specs- JL Audio 10"sub in JL Audio wedge box running off of a Sony 752 amp, bridged to 150W mono. Signal supply is from a high-level to low-level converter under the back seat tapped into the rear speaker wires in the harness under the rear seat.

 Holy shit!!! How much power where you running? Are those your subs in the rear deck? What size are they, and how hard was it to put them there? Oh, and is that Mojo Jojo hanging there?:D

It's a Zapco AG650 - 650 watts RMS I believe, so roughly double at full power. Now run that sub down to two ohms, bridged, and it nearly quadruples the power to those two channels (it's a 6 channel amp).

My sub is actually just a Boston 12" in a box - I took it out so you could see the amp - that's what that stray wire is for. Just regular 6.5" speakers front and rear. And in fact, I am using the factory speakers up front right now... sounds okay because the amp has a built in crossover which cuts all the bass so they don't distort like mad.

I wonder if the Zapco is going to blow my Subaru factory speakers? Any guesses?

I've changed mine all around. But I can run out and get a photo.

Uh, James... do you really NEED that kind of power for the stock speakers?

When I swapped the crap out in my Legacy I remember bridging my PG XS2500 and making arcs with them. :)

Maybe I am doing something wrong when I am posting my pics. Sorry.

About my nitrous. That bottle is from a friend of mine. I had plan on hooking it up but the jet threads were screwed up, plus it did not have a pressure gauge. It was an old bottle so I just took it out and when my refund check comes in this Friday I plan on purchasing a new Zex's kit with a remote bottle opener, pressure gauge and new spark plugs. I can't wait. I am not sure how large of a shot I will run yet. I have a super AFC that should be in some time this week then I ordered a greddy EGT gauge and an Autometer A/F gauge. I will start out with a 60 shot and depending on how my readings are I will up the shot as long as it looks safe for my engine.

About my trunk. I plan on buying another Teamdynamic wheel and have my trunk display my wheel as well as the new nitrous bottle. I will raise the trunk floor so that the wheel will be incased. I have made most of the cut outs but I still have to figure out how I want to mount everything and carpet it all. I was going to use vinyl but I can not find a nice dark blue so I will probable go with carpet. I dont know. I am taking my time. I have another car, so I have the opportunity to let my Subaru sit while I am working on it. It is great. When I finish everything I will take more pics and show everyone. But give me at least 2-3 weeks.
