I bought this car back in March 2014 with around 94,000 miles on it, it is a 2000 Impreza 2.5RS sedan 5mt in Silverthorne Metallic. Spun a bearing at 97,175 miles and swapped in an EG33 from a 1992 SVX.

Update for everyone who saw my first journal:

New vacuum hoses for the breathers

Makes the engine bay look a little cleaner (I've got a ways to go)

I'm also converting to SVX brackets

and I got platinum spark plugs, these are the old ones

Boost! Imagine an Eaton m90 supercharger off a Pontiac..
I've actually debated supercharging it! But being in New England it could be 0ºF out or 100ºF and I don't want a big intercooler so a turbo would be better for getting a consistent level of boost year round

Got some accord rear spats a while ago and fitted them for size, going to be picking up paint soon so I can paint match them and put them on (this was before I put my new tail lights on)

Decided to get a center pocket instead of the big gauge pod so I had to improvise on the mounting of my coolant temp gauge, sorry in advance for the potato quality pictures

i used electrical tape on the oil gauge in my land rover. duct tape leaves a residue
Oops forgot about that lol

A little update, my rear calipers have been seized for a little while and I decided to do a little upgrade while i'm at it. I decided to use 01+ outback front and rear brakes which are a little bigger than the stock RS ones at the same cost. The stock RS brakes are a 276mm diameter in the front and a 266mm diameter in the rear, whereas the 01+ outback front diameter is 294mm and the rear diameter is 290mm. All the parts that I will need; disc, pad, calipers, cost the same with keeping stock vs going with the 01+ outback brakes and all I need to do is buy brackets at a local junk yard and throw everything on.

The previous owner of my car put rear stainless steel brake lines on but not fronts so I will be also getting stainless front lines to match up with the rears.

One last thing I plan on doing in the future is getting a master cylinder brace which I heard helps with the lack of pedal feel that I have and getting a 02-05 WRX master cylinder which is 17/16" instead of the RS's 15/16" should increase my braking feel a little as well.

Got the gunmetal radio surround in from SixStarImports, I like the gunmetal look and I can't wait to wire up the light up cigarette lighter
