Anyone have any of their interior pieces painted?? I am planning to get this done and was wondering if there are any horror stories from doing this.

I have done the interior trim a few times due to some problems I had with one of the paints I used. Here it is now.

Damn i thought that was my car,,,Kents,,

Cept fr the carbon fiber on the dash.Make sure ya clean all the parts yr painting,(mineral spirits works well).Dont get in a hurry,do 3 o4 coats dependin on what color you choose,and then finish it off with a coupla coats of clear coat.I used Rust Oleam spray,its called metal finish silver or something like that.It's damn close to silverthorne.

Understatement of the year. That's a nice-looking interior. Very tasteful & simple. The two-tone scheme reminds me of the factory interior from an expensive car like an Audi or a BMW.

Thanks again guys for the compliments, however I actually used a three-tone color scheme. I used silver, black and blue. The blue is the same rally blue pearl as the exterior. It was only used on the speaker covers, vents and door handles. It is easier to see when the sun light is shinning on it.

i dont have a pix but i colored the gauge mask, plastic beneath where e-brake is, and air conditioning part. oh and plastic where door handles are.

Kevin (Bankheist) has recently painted his interior pieces the exterior color.. IMO, it looks damn good. I don't think he's taken any pics of it yet though.

Painting door panels???

Ok i know how to do all plastic pieces but how do you go about painting the pieces on the door that have the carpet material on it, i have no idea and i would not want to screw up doing it. I love to know how to do that.
