ok so about 2 months before now i put in the borla replica headers and no probs now today on way to work i get a p0131 code for the front o2 sensor low input. whats the deal do i have to get a wide band o2 sensor now that i swapped the headers? i doubt its the sensor i just put this one in less than a year ago. any input on what to do first to check this problem?:bonk:

Ok well i noticed today and observed after getting rid of the DTC that while im on the gas before the dtc comes back im in closed loop and then when i let off gas and am on decel it goes back to open loop and the dtc comes back and stays in open loop? Bad sensor?

Wow how similar to my problem. I just had to drop my headers to install a front swaybar and now have the same cel. I wonder if a exhaust leak my have caused it, as I didnt replace the gaskets... hmm. Im thinking mine may be a bad sensor, I do have 60,000 miles on it and the exhaust doesnt sound like I have a leak. Friggin O2 sensors, they sure can be sensitive little bastards.

Wow is this very common with UEL borla reps? Or is it more un-luck of the draw?

Also, Lanz0r, you mentioned wraping headers would work preventing cel, would powder coating work?
