My temp gauge pinned yesterday and I found there is no coolant flowing through my radiator.

Any suggestions? I'm thinking a thermostat or something? Water pump seems okay.

Oh and what are my chances of killing a head gasket if my temp guage hit the last line?

What do you mean by No coolant flowing through your radiator?

As in it stopped flowing but is still there or your rad is empty?

How did you determine that the coolant is not flowing?

Chances are it was the HG problem that caused the overheat and not the other way around.

Well while my engine was running and to operating temperature the upper radiator hose was limp, I could squeeze it and feel no fluid going threw it.
Also, the overflow tank was well over the full mark but when I took the radiator cap off the fluid inside wasn't full.

I checked the thermostat and water pump last night and they both are fine. I also drained the radiator and the fluid ran out nice and looked very clean.

Does this sound like a HG problem? It's a 2000 RS with only 53,000 miles..
