Coating is for cooling. I don't know how convenient or expensive it is to get headers sprayed. Another option is header wrap (with spray sealer stuff).

on a 4cyl n/a engine i wouldnt waste the money or time. if u were turbod i could see with the increased under hood temp, but not really for n/a. If anything id wrap the exhaust maniold.

Yeah I'm NA, live in Pittsburgh, and I didn't wrap or coat my borla reps. Be careful if you do get em wrapped because water has a tendency to get lodged if it's not done exactly right and can cause it to rust.
