Wouldn't have guessed that...besides even if I remembered when I race I get scared so I inch up and soon as those lights say I'm staged I stop. Now if I could only launch good. *sigh*stealthbmbr said:Did you guys know that how you stage your car is very important to everything. Every inch you roll into the beams will lower your reaction time by.008 but increases your total et by.016. Deep staging will slow your et down by .10 secs. Just thought I would let you in on a bracket racing secret. There are so many people who don't realize this.
yup you go at the last yellow.stealthbmbr said:Launch when the last yellow starts to come on, not the green.
It engauges way too high(the clutch) doesn't make for a great launch for me...still trying to figure out a good launch on the 00, the 98 engauges nice and low right off the floor, much easier to launch.stealthbmbr said:Me too. For the life of me I can't let the clutch out slow enough to slip the clutch. My best 60 ft was friday night at capitol raceway in crofton, md. A 2.22 60ft. That's why I don't bracket race my TS. I don't want to tear it up. I'll stick with my racecar for now.
thats why while your waiting for the last light i have the clutch lifted upto the point right before it starts to catch, then when the last yellow goes, just takes a little bit of lift...and im off.Angel said:

slipping the clutch or dropping it?Angel said:I've yet to make that happen but I've tried...the car boggs hard when I do that at any rpm over 3500.
