My dealer replaced my timing belt about two weeks ago. Today, when I pulled out the spark plug boots to replace the spark plugs, I discovered motor oil around the opening of all four spark plug holes. I never had this problem before. Did the dealer have to remove the valve covers to change the timing belt? On the other hand, all spark plugs looked normal without any sign of fouling.

I'd definitely call the dealership.

My friend had this problem with his eclipse and it was the valve cover gasket.
