I rolled my 99 RS 8 months before it was payed off (after paying on it for more than 3yrs). I deeply regret that, but I bought my '06 STi after that. Had my STi for almost a year (and loved every SECOND of it) before I had to trade it in 'cuz as much as I loved that car, it just wasn't worth the stress i was dealing with to keep it. I could afford it when i bought it, but go figure, buy an STi, get a long term girlfriend. Sexy cars will do that to ya...
Anyways.... I traded in the STi, even though my girl did her best to talk me out of it. Before i sound like more a puss than i've already made myself sound like, I should not have bought the when i did. It turned out to be more than i was ready for at the time. That being said I'm obviously still diehard subaru!! Basically now I'm looking into buying a 99-00 coupe and swapping in the full STi drivetrain. Pretty much what I've wanted to do from the begining but now it is a little more realistic. Either way, just want express my love for subaru even though it's been well over a year since I've been in the AWD bliss....
