It seems even they are starting to question what's happening over there. A number of the old timers(I don't consider myself an old timer and I'm in the later half of 2K) are starting to rag on the new guys, and vice versa... Then again a lot of the people here at RS25 are I-Clubers of yore...


I think it'll be interesting over the next few months. I think we're going to see a sort of Re-Definition of the I-Club, and it's going to change pretty drasticaly. The community is changing, I just hope it manages to hang on to some of the mystical stuff that made it so great.

I'll also say, I'm real happy with RS25. This community is stablizing, there's noticably fewer of the "Man, I'm glad to be done with the I-club" posts. I like the attitude over here, and I think that the club is going to find a certain maturity soon.(not grown up maturity, more of a well developed type)(like when fertilizer reaches that nice rich smell)(we're just a pile of crap over here!hehehe)


I'm just making an observation here, nothing more. Sorry if this is percieved as another "Man, I'm glad to be done with the I-club" posts.

i think the i-club is going towards the WRX exclusively. for good or ill, the WRX brought alot of new people to subarus who are a breed apart from the people who actually new what the impreza was before it was marketed. so you get alot of people who don't know anything about subarus and very little about cars in general asking the same silly questions week after week. also, its becoming more and more just a store front for imprezer to make money for himself, and i want no part of that.

A$$holes like me will make sure of that. I love this board, but some things are still on i-club. That will change with time, but I do have friends that drive WRXs... Not all of them are bad...

Im not quitten on the i-club either,just dont spend as much time there.But lifino is right,there is a large echo you can almost here in the "old school" and "normally aspirated" forums.
But I do have to say that most of the guys who i wanna hang with are over here now.

i visit 5 forums....in this order....MWIC(local guys and gals), General(to see what dubm qestions there are today), Old Skool(no explantion needed ), Aftermarket FI(cause we are the only ones in there ), and NA(which now is really starting to SUCK by the way).

yes there are remember the days when threads EVERYWHERE on the i-club...i'm not sure how long it will survive, it was announced today that the Evolution VII will be available this summer so hopefully the ricers will drop the rex's and buy those and crash them too. I have a good photo alumb going from the "I crashed my WRX" threads i see everywhere.

LMFAO!!! i hate to seem like i have an elitist attitude but sometimes you just have to put them in their place...i mean the people come there, want to do no research and handed all the knowledge that we have worked together to build...they just want it all given to them for the cheapest price..and i guess that's what bothers me, is the fact that we've put the wrench time in so they could be the ones to profit from it. Kinda urks my tater.
