K, so I blew the motor in my 99 LGT, Its an EJ25 DOHC. Ordered an engine with 48k miles from the local salvage yard, motor came in looked GREAT, just had MAJOR servicing done, like TB, WP, heads were decked, new plugs and wires. anyways, got the motor in and all hooked up...... I have fuel, but no spark, its not the coil, checked that with the coil off my old engine that I know is good....... Can one of the guru's help me here cause im stumped.....

k, let me clarify. thought I did. Its not getting spark at all. like not FROM the coil.

Is the coil plugged in?

I know it sounds basic, but its somewheres. I would then trace those wires back to where they come from.

Have you checked all of your grounds and fuses?

I really wish I could be of more assistance. But I'll wait for more Gurus to chime in.

Yeah, like 01rs25 said, make sure it's plugged in. It's kind of under/behind/to the passenger side of the intake manifold... you can find it by taking off the coilpack.
