Well folks,
Scooby South and Deadbolt didn't lie when they told us that they would make certain that the GC8 owners were not forgotten. The three of us travelled to visit a tuning and custom fabrication shop yesterday to talk to them about coming out with products for the Subaru. I am unable to tell you the name of the shop just yet, but they are huge in tuning some american muscle (turbo muscle as a matter of fact). We toured their facilities and looked at some of the current products they have. WOW. This is workmanship that is second to none. The quality is phenominal.
Anyway, they will be coming out with a cat replacement pipe (one high flow cat) and a cat-back exhaust. Everything will be mandrel bent and stainless steel. They are also going to come out with some products for the WRX as well, but we don't care about that here really. I can say that the cat pipe will sell for a good sum less than the unit Random makes, plus it should have smoother bends and flow to it as well, and will be designed to work with a cat back exhaust. There is also the possibility of headers later on as well.
I am just glad that we have some distributors out there who are not going to forget us.
