Need recommendations on good dualtip exhausts

Looking at new mufflers +/- new midpipes, or full catback systems. The majority of the popular aftermarket are the singletip largebore melonshooter varieties, but i'm curious about any decent dual tip exhausts on the martket and wondering if anyone has any decent recommendations on them.

I might have mentioned this at Columbus. Try these links:

Subaru Planet or Brullen Exhausts

Larry Ganz is a great guy to deal with. I'm probably going to order a dual tip catback in March...let me know what you do.

Sport Compact Car magazine did a review several years back, and it was very infomrative (Dyno tests and all.) I'll see if I can dig that up tonight and post the mufflers they tried.

As I recall the Stromung with a S-AFC was the best performer - almost 30 (or was it 20?) HP increase over stock!
I have a Stromung Cat back, ad I love it...get the stainless
Is that just from the muffler and the S-AFC? Sounds too big a gain for just a muffler and S-AFC...

It was muffler, intake, and S'AFC. As far as exhaust goes... Get a catback done at a local muffler shop. Just make sure they don't crush bend. My wife got one with the muffler and tip of her choice for $180 bucks. You won't get $400 worth of extra performance from any system...;) When you have it done, just use a muffler that has duel tips! :D
I have a dual tip Magnaflow with 3.5" tips. I originally wanted 3" tips, but 3.5" were the smallest offered on that particular muffler and they've grown on me in the months since the system was installed. Check out magnaflow.com and http://www.exhaustproslinc.com/streetser5x8.html to order.

I recommend you get a big resonator in the midpipe. :D
I've got the Stomung dual-tip, and it looks just right under the RS. The tips aren't too big, and they size and spacing of them fits the notch in the back bumper perfectly. It also has a sweet sound, deep and a hint of rumble to it. I'll attach a pic as soon as I'm able too.
not sure if imagestation will let me do this... but i'll try anyway... or i'll just post a link to my album...

brullen complete system with dual 3.5" tips on the back... with the stock hangers... it fits great and really closes in that gap in the back...

Link to the album if the images aren't working...

The pics with the exhaust are called "spring2002cleaning"

Stromung!
I say Stromung.. i have the SS dual tip with the mid pipe and its been very good to me. I've had it for almost 2 years. I have never cleaned it so now it looks like a stock exhaust  no one can tell until my car is on. but now the inside of the tips are very black and part of the outsides. i was told a long time ago that the stromung mid pipe added to the muffler is actually a bit quieter even if the mid pipe has no resonator.
I have a Stromung, and the only bad thing about it, is that it rusts a little. You to get on your hands and knees to see it though. The sound is awesome. :)

Mine too.
I should have gotten the stainless steel muffler!

Yeah, me too. But since they don't salt the roads here, I was hoping rust wouldn't be a problem. Guess I should take care of it now before it gets too bad, though. But I still love my Stomung!
Has anyone tried the WRX exhaust?....I just bought one today w/1500 miles for $100. I'm going to have it installed this week, but I know I'll have to get a little modification done. I think I have to have one little piece cut and welded and also one hanger moved a little bit. Small work for a decent exhaust shop. I think the total investment will be around $160.
