Howdy! I just got a 98 2.5RS and the motor runs better than my 17 Impreza. But the buy I bought it from slapped an aftermarket muffler on it that’s very oppressive from the inside. I want to put a new one on that’s inbetween quiet and loud but I don’t even know where to look. I don’t plan on putting a turbo in if that helps. Thanks for reading!

Subjective, but I like maganflow mufflers, good middle ground and not expensive. I'm sure their other muffler brands that people will speak for

I loved the sound of the prodrive "back box" I had on mine; but they're pretty much unobtanium now. had to order it from ebay.uk, $250 in 2016..
