I recently installed a Legacy turbo setup on my car, and it has been creaking when I go over a bump. I am pretty sure that it is because I am using a Legacy Turbo crossmember and the RS front sway bar. This is probably causing the sound, but it could also be the bushings worn out in the sway bar. Anyone ever have a nasty creaking sound from under the engine after you go over a bump?
I know that after i installed my sway bar and rear strut tower bar i was getting a creaking sound in the back. So if you did the same in the front it could probably be the sway bar perhaps?
After installing my SPO rear sway bar it creaks. I hit it with some WD-40 and it went away. I'm going to drill a hole in the bushing housing and mount a grease zert at some point so I can keep it lubed.
I am running the Legacy motor in my car and my front sway bar does the same thing, mainly when it's humid or wet.
We greased it once, but it didn't help much.
It goes away after I drive for a little bit, I just live w/it :curse:
