DiagTech - 99 EJ222 - ported EJ222 - Unknown(est. 200k kms) - 40k kms - TD04 - 5psi - 10:1 FMU - 91, 94 - @8-9psi and blew headgaskets, 5k kms later #1 rod bearing is noisey - grocery getting racecar

that combo should do very well, about 9:1 compression

* Car is a '96 2.2 Leg L running a '98 EJ25D ECU/ECM (rumor is it supplies more fuel).

Edit: The kid I sold this to texted me last fall (2018) and asked about the HG I used as his was leaking. He'd been hoonin' it so I don't feel much guilt. I don't know how many miles he added to it, but I think it'd been about 2 years. So I'd guess @ least 10K miles more? As noted, this engine was already well-used when I went NA-T (200K).

So turbo blocks are included with this? I have three failures! ;D One still going. I'll post up the details if this one makes it to 5000 miles.

Well, I did pop motor number 4, slack MBC line touched the hot side of the turbo. Preliminary diagnosis (inspected oil filter media, and compression test) is a fresh set of pistons and I should be good to go again. I'mma guess it made lots of boost though! My emanage had changed some of the cells in the 16-20psi ranges. hah!
