I got a set of Subaru Impreza mud guards. It's made for the L model where there are no side apron. So I will have to do some cutting to get it to fit my RS. Does anyone know the best way to cut plastic? What tools? What technique? Thanks.

that stuff should cut pretty easily. as long as tom ridge isn't watching, you could use a box cutter. that's what i used on my urethane mudflaps. granted, it was completely dull afterwards, but that shouldn't be an issue with OEM plastics.

I think you ought to use a fairly thick box-cutter style razor blade, nothing too thin or else it might snap.

But there are templates for the mudflaps on North_Ursalia's site, www.ravensblade-impreza.com , somewhere. I used them to make mine.

(Well, he came over and helped, but... :D )

If you have extra cash there are a few outfits that sell molded ones, they are usually called "turbo" models as they fit the GC8 turbo cars overseas. I think www.MrtRally.co.au has them. And a few local guys. Post in the Wanted to Buy if you think you are interested...
