Hey, my motor just blew up. Where do you think I can find a 2.5RS motor for a 1999? Also, can any 1998-2001 2.5RS motor fit into my 1999 2.5RS?

You can also use a a Legacy, Forester motor. You just need a sohc Long block.

yeah you just need a SOHC long block. or short block depending on what let go...

atually what happen to the engine?

was burning oil, low on oil, rod blew hole in motor....

search on here or NASIOC.. you can also contact the swap shops as they sometimes keep the motors that they swap out
