So does anybody have one of the lubeSPEED kits? The difference between the stage I and II is an intercooler and a wastegate set 5 to 7 PSI instead of 4 to 5. From reading another thread in this section it looks like I could pick up and intercooler for less then the price difference which I would like to invest in a Knock sensor (it’s a good idea right) just wondering what times I could be running if I decide to go that way as I am still undecided to stay NA or go FI?

Don't be cheap, run the intercooler and the knock sensor, you'll thank yourself later. The intercooler will very much so help with reducing detonation, but you can never be too sure.

I know 8Comlex and Imprezinator are running the Ludespeed kits. I have met Tom, the guy who builds and owns Ludespeed, and he is very nice and very knowledgable.

I know some guys down here in Orlando running Ludespeed kits on their RS's. Tom did a test with the first batch of kits he sold, and the guy ran a 13.8 with the Stage II kit. He has since improved the quality of the kits, so I am sure you could probably be faster depending on how good of a driver you are.

If you've never tuned a motor before, you will want to start with a 3-5psi spring at it's lowest setting. The knock sensor (J&S) is a MUST. I can speak from experience and so can Eric (Imprezinator) as we've both gone through several motors each (for various reasons).

It's a great kit! I love my stage III kit. I agree with the other guys, don't cheap out! It will cost you alot less to do it right the first time then to do it right the second time!!!
