Lowering Springs?

Hey, i was just wondering if anyone has put only lowering springs on their car without any other suspension mods or anything. Cause i wanna lower my car about 1.5 inches, but i dont have money for anything more than just lowering springs.

If i got lowering springs installed would i be bottoming out over every single speed bump and dip or what?

Any help or info would be appriciated.

I have H&Rs on mine without any other suspension mods. It lowered the car approx. 1.8" in the front and approx. 1.5" in the rear. At first it felt okay...way stiffer than stock, but after about 4 months it just started bouncing a lot. I hate it now. Good thing I got V5 struts.
