Will the Kartboy short shifter with bushings for the 97-01 RS fit my 1997 Impreza Brighton? I'm 80% sure that it will. How long does installation take?

Most likely. Some 97's might still have the older 93-96 style shifter.

Compare your shifter to the one in the link posted.

Never installed it. Sent it back and got my money back. Thinking about buying it again because my current shifter is horrible. You can put it into 1st and move it around to where it looks like it's in 5th. :crazy: It also rattles in all gears when driving.
