Not a bad install, it took about an hour. I did it at work, so I was helping customers while I did it. The alt belt was wrong, but I picked one up next door at a parts store. The correct Gates part #K050323.for an extra $11.63.

Where did you get the pulleys from? Are they the same size diameter as stock??
I ordered them fron Dan at www.vividracing.com but they were out of stock. He took the order and had them shipped to me from Renick subaru. All three pulleys are smaller in diameter and alot lighter. The whole kit weights somewhere around 1.4 lbs, as opposed to just the stock crank pulley at 5.5 lbs. I thought the box was empty when I got it. The new belts are shorter than the origanals. But it is not an underdrive kit. They are supposed to spin the accesories at the same speed as factory. It seems to rev so much quicker now.:happynow:

WTF?? Rob, why do have a member number under your name?
Just put a bunch of spaces after your location in your profile, then add your member number (which you can find out by hovering over the "Profile" button at the end of your post and looking in the Status Bar of your browser.

Your member number is 64. :)
Another question.. Will this affect my plans to later install a flywheel? Or is that just for 'underdrive' pulleys??

I have heard both yes and no...

What you do, is buy them now, when you get the flywheel, sell them to me at a very nice price.;)
I read somewhere that 9lb. is the minimun wight combined for pully and flywheel. Which would be pretty light anyways. Not really sure, just something I remember reading awhile back.
pulley's weigh in at 1.4 lbs, so, I doubt you can even find a flywheel under 8lbs.
Yeah, and if you don't go with a super light flywheel I don't think there should be much problem. For instance, Cobb's flywheel is 12.3lbs. Some are around the 14-16lbs range. Still much lighter than the 20-some lbs of the stock flywheel but not so light as to cause potential problems.
