Just got back from my first autoX event today. Was put on by the porsche club in Santa Barbara. Mostly porshe, lot of 996 turbos, but i was suprised to find that i wasn't the only subie. There was a 03 sedan,04 wagon and 06 STi romping around, but the course was VERY tight and they all had trouble getting their turbos in to the game. Im failry sure i was the fastest subaru there

Oh yea, there was also a Ford GT and a Carrera GT running today too, and the ford was on Hoiser R-comps. Good God those car sound amazing. and a super-charged NSX as wel
Unfortunatly the tight course didn't do so well for em and they struggled to post decent times.

Stars of the day were a 1970's carrera and a new boxter S on R comps - both ran low 48's about 4 second quicker than me, the boxster hit two cones on one run and was still quicker than my fastest time..

I think im hooked on this and can't wait to try out Rally-X.

My setup is:
235/40/17 BFgoodridch KDW's
22m front sway/19mm rear
Cobb intake/ borlas
STI brembos all around
P1 springs / AGX front GR-2 rear

Car felt very good, had enough low torque to stay in 2nd when all the other cars had to go to 1st. Im wanting to try a stiffer rear bar, but over all im pretty pleased with it.

Ill post some pics and video when i get it loaded, but im exhausted right now.

Yea, I think you could bump up to a bigger rear bar. 22-23-24mm adjustable bar would do really well for you I think.

due to a lost firewire cable, video is gonna take a while, but the STi guy took ALOT of pictures and ill post em up when i get my hands on em.

Yes my number is 420, I wanted to get 42 but someone else had it, and it was really early in the morning and i forgot about the 555 rally number.

the tan car in the back ground of one of those is a old school mini cooper S in RHD.
was probably running on 135mm tires or so and was still tri-poding it a few times.
