So, how many people would be interested in fender flares? Cost would be $300 - $400 from what I can tell from initial contact, and might require some modification to fit our cars.

These are made from ABS-like Plastic, and can be painted. I think they just might work. There are SEVERAL different cars to pick from so I have to do some research on what would fit. Basically, *I* want something that would let me get some wider tires under there!!!

I'll have more details later.

IMO they *might* look funny on a GC8. But, who knows. Maybe a whole render flare like the CUSCO Impreza or 22B style may look better. Well just my opinion.

I agree. At this point, however, I am just frustrated that wide tires don't fit. And the real 22B style kits are waaaay out of my price range. Like, what, $2500 for the kit, and then another $1k to $2k to install, and THEN get wider tires and rims?

A few hundred bucks for the flares, a little paint... that's more my speed. And if they are not hideously ugly, then I'm going to be happy. :biggest:

It's hard to tell until I see them on a GC8. Might look good. I think I remember seeing a pic of a GC8 with EVO flares on it that looked pretty good but I would have no idea where to find it.

it wont look bad. other GC8s have done it. of course they also had aftermarket front and rear bumpers that matched up to it.



if you build it, they will come.

These would be great, except I heard they only fit with sedans. I could be way off. I'm not totally sure. The only pic I've ever seen was a gc8 wrx on onlineshowoff.com. If they fit coupes I'd probably be interested.

Well I think it's going to be hard to match up to the "Shoebox on the corners" flares that the WRX has...

Count me in on this one if we can get it going!

I'd love to have the flares with the 22b front end I have on the OBS now...

And yes...I'm taking pics...soon...I just wanna make sure the car is clean before I take em!

Interesting idea, but I don't think it'd work for us sedan guys!

There isn't much room for any fender stuff in the rear because of the door.

I noticed that some of the rear flare designs are two-parts - one for the fender, one that fits on the edge of the door... might work for you, too. I'll keep it in mind.

It was a custom job, I don't think they sell them. It's also molded ($$$!), which makes it look really nice.
