I currently have a fender-mount intercooler, but I am really thinking about going to a top-mount. The intercooler I am considering is from a '98 WRX. As it is now, there is a tube on the driver's side of it, presumably where the bypass valve would mount. However, it would hit the EGR valve, and I don't want to remove that, so would it be feasible to cut that tube off and patch it, and cut a hole and weld a flange on the other side of the intercooler? Thanks!:)
