So I ordered two replacement tie rods, they both have the same part number on the box but they are both totally different lengths. Is this how the parts are supposed to be or did i get some random tie rod in one of the boxes.

Are you doing the replacement yourself? If so, just slide under the car and look. It should be easy enough to do a quick measurement and find out. I would find out for you but Im at work unfortunately.

If a shop is doing the work for you call them up and ask if they know. They must have a manual for your vehicle...
