i posted the same thing in the i-club, but wanted to share with you guys more

let me just say that this thing screams (<--my face when i heard it at WOT for the first time)
( <---- my g/f's face while in the car holding on)

she noticed more of a difference as a passenter than me as the driver. she's in the car all the time so she knows what it feels like. i may be going to do a drag strip soon to get some hard numbers.

my best time previously with the ganz-flow was a 15.4
this time i'll have pulley's on and the injen in-place of the ganz.

i'm guessing around 15.1 - 15.2. hoping for 14.9-15.1

Well i don't know where he goes but the Drag strips have already opened. At least where i live. MIR (Maryland International Raceway) has midnight madness on Sun and Test and tune on sat. and Capitol Raceway will be open very soon for night racing, thier already open for day racing. Its pretty much Spring around here.:sunny:

If you run that fast of a time with only Pulleys and an Injen Intake i will be very impressed! My friend ran around a 15.2 with intake, pulleys, Exaust and Midpipe. He did have a 99 also and i dont know if they are any slower.Post times when you get them.

That intake does not look that bad! Looks sturdy also. How much did you pay for it? When was the last time you cleaned your engine bay?

paid 254, is very sturdy (almost as much as my ganzflow was) and i never cleaned my engine bay

Curious... did you have to remove the wheel well to get the filter inside the fender? Installation seems to take a little more time to get done than other intake installations, right?

overall it took about 1 1/2 hours.

BUT....that included the resetting of the ecu and letting it run for a 1/2 hour when done putting it in. and changing my wheels at the same time.

what does the filter look like? how far into the fender doest it go?

looks like your run of the mill K&N cone filter with red silicone housing.

fender lies behind the orange passenger side vent in the bumper. probably about 8-12 inches behind it on top of the whell well lining.

Does it only come it red? Blue would be really nice preferably smurf blue

yea, it only comes with red accesorie hosing. and polished pipe is the only option for my model. i'm sure you could buy blue hose and connectors if you wanted.

are the hoses long enough to run to a catch can if you wanted?

just something i've been thinking about doing for awhile now.

i don't know anything about that, you would have to try it. i'm happy with the way it is now.
