Hi guys!
Quick question!
I just finished swapping a ej207 v7 and car runs fine! starts up great and idles good. But when priming the system, i can hear sort of one of the injectors spraying on the passenger side for the duration of the fuel pump priming (few seconds) then stops as soon as the fuel pump stops. Also there is a strong smell of petrol from the exhaust when the car is started up. Are the injectors meant to be spraying when priming fuel? Or is this just the sound of fuel being sent back to the tank.
Or is this a bigger problem being electrical or bad injectors?
Cheers!

I have a similar issue with my stock 2.5 RS but I'm not able to tell if the injectors are open and spraying when the motor is running... but there is definitely a fuel leak somewhere on the passenger side engine bay and I see there's a disbursement of fuel on the mount plate underneath.... Plus the exhaust comes out a whitish color beginning with a small amount and then it will build up into plumes
