Hello everyone.
excuse my english, i'm from france.
I did a complete paint job and replaced my windshield last week but there is a problem.
the windshield molding does not hold.
I think they left too much space between the glass and the roof.
they're going to take it off and put it back.
Could someone tell me how much space to leave between the molding and the glass, at the top and on the sides?
or if there is another way to place it properly.
thank you all.

Very unfortunate. I'm glad the installers are going to make it right. That kind of info would be in the factory service manual for your car.

hi mike,
Thank you for your answer.
I will leave it to a professional in auto glass and they will try to remove it and glue it well.
if it breaks, it will cost me 600 €, unless the garage pays for a job badly done but I don't think so, they want to do it but I don't want them to touch the car.
I'll tell you once it's done.
