No no no..i'm not gonna go out and buy a wrx! :barf: I mean I'm tired of it looking so STOCK. Hmm... tax return time. Maybe I should go out and get some rims... yah..

Should i go with the silver my98-99 oems or should i just take the plunge and go with some 17's? I like to do some canyon running too so I don't want too big a wheel. The oems will retain that factory jdm look too...oh what to do what to do? Lol..i'm bored at work.. sorry.

I sure do...just got a brochure from them the other day!

17x6.5 and 17x7 are $273/wheel, while 17x8 is $298/wheel. Standard finish is "sparkle silver", with optional finishes in black, white, gold, or anthracite. Looks like optional colors are $12/wheel.

Frankly, I think these wheels get overlooked by a lot of folks. They come in both road and race spec, and I think they look really good on the Impreza.

In the road spec wheel, 17x8 is the largest they have. I'll have to check on the race spec when I get home at lunch today, but it seems like they have them in wider widths.

Well, according to their website, 17x8 is the widest they have. I don't know if they would do a custom width or not, but I would expect it to be expensive if they would...

I'm praying for a tax return...!!!

But for you, well there's lots of choices. Personally, if I got a humungous tax return, I'd pay off my credit card and go car part shopping. That'd have to be an enormous return, but since we're in dreamland, leave me alone. :D

If you stick with 16" wheels, either get another set of pre-WRX/'02 RS OEMs, or maybe some Sport Edition Fox 5s from TireRack. They supposedly will clear the four-pot calipers (STi), so that'd be a bonus, for future use. (As you may know, the OEM wheels will clear, too, but the '02+ wheels won't. Narrower offset or something, I think.)

If you go with 17"s though? Either the Euro. WRX ones, the Euro. Legacy wheels (real nice!), or the new Prodrive PFF7. I'm in love with those babies. TireRack may carry them now, I'm not sure. I think so though.

Then for look-good stuff, go shopping at Chris Douma's house....

ahah..thanks guys, i've been hiding it in the garage cuz its so shameful to drive it around.. especially for as long as i have!

And I'm gonna go wingless.. I've always liked the way it looked without a wing.
