It’s my first time owning a Subaru I’ve mostly owned Hondas before and they all mostly idle at like between 900 or 1k I never really paid attention until the other day I was at a red light I was like why am I idling so low

Yep, fairly normal

That’s where my 98 idles. With a solid pitch stop and group n engine and trans mounts it gets a little rattly in the cab at lights.
