Weird. I picked up my '99 RS for less than that with 1/2 the miles on it 3 years ago.

That price is BS.

mine was/is up for 4099, but it does have 176k. But when i bought mine, they had a 98 auto RS at the same place for 9k, and i paid 7500 back when it had 119k.

Wow that's pretty high. I remember shopping for mine and seeing I could buy a bugeye with less miles for a lower price but I wanted to stick with something not so hideous lol.

But its nice to see that people (dealers) still like to value our cars pretty high.

mine has 108k and they offered me $1800 for mine in a trade in...

Thats practically a brand new one when they came out.

i got my car from a dealer, 2000 coupe rs, 63k, 5mt, bone stock. some exterior mods. i got it for 7500

yep dealer's will charge way more than private partys. Good RS's are hard to find, therefore you'll pay more for them, i paid 2k over bb when i bought my rs, and sold it for 2k over, it all evens out
