so...i refinished my door cards.

i didn't like how the refinished door handle portion came out because I couldnt get the actual handles off. Now, I want to redo them, but I don't know that I can make it look any better unless I can get the squishy thing OFF the door to cover it in leather.

Im assuming the arm rest, mine has a big squish circle from where my elbow rests while driving

remove the window switchches carefully by prying up, then disconnect them

remove the screw covers on the doorpad with a teeny tiny screwdriver.

then remove the large screws from the door, one behind the window switches, one behind the small square cover below the armrest, one in the handle, too.

I think you need to slide the handle forward, then out to remove it. then possibly disconnect the rod via the rod clip

pry the card outwards from the door, try not to break the plastic clips if at all possible
